Re: sprocket size

i had -1/+2 on my gix, loved it, was pretty happy with it.
this winter i put on -2/+5, and its kinda hairy. slow corners take skill w/ the clutch and throttle, and it rapps out REALLY fast.
pulls like raped ape tho, its insanely torquey, plenty to beat 750s with a **** clutch drawing all my power

Re: sprocket size

I'm runnin 17 up front, and 59 in the rear. I absolutely LOVE it!! I'm still workin on getting dialed in on the slow stuff, but it works wonders for the highway stuff. I clutch mine up ak 4k RPMs now in 4th (35mph) and usually stay between 55, and 65 on highway wheelies. I could clutch it up at lower rpms, but I'm not that smooth yet. I say go for it, and take all your plastic off, and hit up racing 905 for a crash cage if you haven't done all that already.

Re: sprocket size

hows this, im currently -1+2 on my F4, im gettin pretty decent at the slow ****, but i pull it up going over 45ish. im thinkin of gettin a bigger sprocket in back, what should i go with, would 5 be enough, or would i just eventually want more, when i first got the ones i have now a month ago, i was like holy ****, this is a huge difference, but i already want more

i'm -1 +6 on my 6R. and -1 +10 on my 900rr. both are sick and can do pretty much everything, slow or highway.
