Question Breaking off front brake resevoir?

This is an idea I have and I'm wondering if anyone has tried this. On my 929 I have broke off the front brake resevoir a couple times. I was thinking of getting rid of that whole setup and putting on a new 600rr front master cylinder and resevoir( the metal block type). This would also be out of my way being low profile. Any pros or cons to this? How well does that 600rr stoppie? Good idea or bad? Enough to stop the 929? Anyone ever try something like this?

I KNOW THE 600 HAS WAY SMALLER FRT ROTORS, I DON'T KNOW IF THAT PLAYS A ROLE IN THE SIZE OR SET-UP OF THE MASTER CYLINDER. MAYBE A STEP BEHIND? KOOL IDEA LET ME KNOW IF YOU GET IT TO WORK, I'VE BROKE MIND BEFORE TO...

Ya...i think it all depends on the piston diameter in the master cylinder. The 929 has a 3/4 piston. If you look on the outside of the master cylinder it should have the size of the piston on it in raised #'s.

Well the 600rr has the same exact front brakes as the 929. That is a good thing to check for, I will find out. I think I'm just going to try it, if it works I will let you know either way.
