whellies w/ a r1

I just picked up an r1.I wanna get used to it before I start getting real crazy. Are roll ons in first gear a bad idea because theres so much power?I used to have a gixer 750 and my whellies were really starting to get clean.and also is it possible to raise up the *** end?

Re: whellies w/ a r1

listen the r1 is powerful alil too much to stunt get a steering dampner
for that chattery front end
that bike has a very very light front end thats why not too many raced them from 2000-2003 due to a too light front end
i woulda kept the 750 but thats my opinion u can stunt all day w/the r1 just getta dampner

I woulda kept the 750 but i low-sided it and insurance took it.I picked up this r1 for only 6500 and it only has 1500 miles so i think i got a pretty good deal! What kind of steering dampener Scotts or Ohlins?
