Re: rear foot pegs

just make sure you're off the bike a little bit so there is pressure on it going in instead of just down. I use to put tape on mine but it always falls off so I run it stock now

Re: rear foot pegs

just an idea, how about glueing them with a hot glue gun? if you wanna remove it jsut use a heat gun.

Re: rear foot pegs

A few tight wraps of electrical tape does the trick. Had mine on for months. The peg will still fold if you fall.

I've always heard about welding and taping footpegs. do people really have problems with their rear footpegs folding up? i've never had a problem and I keep mine stock. no need to mess with it...

Re: rear foot pegs

just leave it stock, its not that bad sometimes you will feel it move but you will get used to where you have to stand soon.

Re: rear foot pegs

what I used to do was run a bolt and nut through the whole deal. it makes it solid, but will still fold up if u fall over. But with my new bike I just left it stock. you get used to it!

Re: rear foot pegs

i've never had a problem on any bike i've rode. i do coasters, 12's, slow stuff, never had a peg fold on me at all.

definately leave it stock, just lean back more to put pressure towards the bottom of hte bike and not towards the ground where it will fold. first time you have a peg stab you in the lower back you'll regret doing anything to hold it in place. i know from experience
