when I learned I have never messed up my clutch. As long as you stay close in the realms of what we are talking about. Just slip the clutch, just to make it disengage. then gas up and let the clutch back out. This should all be done very fast. One of the best things that taught me was litening to someone else do it. That way you get the idea as to how its supposed to sound. Check some of the videos out and see some of the guys that do highway wheelies and listen to how it sounds. Then just work on your technique. The thing is this, your going to have to learn to clutch eventually if you want to do slow stuff or do sit downs or??? SO you have to clutch it. But if you don't know how to do a wheelie just keep proactice so you get used to being in the air...
Have fun...

Just a slipon and the thing is running like crap. I also have a +14 rear sprocket... but I could do this when it was totally stock and it was hell of a lot less twitchy.
They are first gear, clutch wheelies, and basically go like 10mph, pull the clutch w/ one finger while putting on some gas, and then slip the clutch out (almost as fast as dumping it).
and then yeah it comes up.

First gear is way twitchy, goto 6k rpms in secound, bounc that bitch as hard as ur can, try to blow ur fork seals, seriously, and right after u jump on that bitch as hard as u can give it wide open throttle, should come up no problem what so ever and clutching is scary when ur just learning

I've found it's easier if you accelerate to between 15mph & 25mph and while still gaining speed grab a good chunk of the clutch and just twist the throttle like it raped your sister and let go of the clutch. It should come up pretty good (1-2ft) don't be scared just be cautious. Those bikes are heavy up front and you really have to give the throttle hell to get them off the ground. Just listen to find the SWEEEEET spot. You can DOOOO IT!!!
