929 clutch pos
I haveings some clutch problems, I burned up a clutch about a mounth ago, put a new one in, all good for about two weeks, then started sliping, all the way up to yesterday, bearly made it home from the spot. take the clutch out one of the fibors are broke, the rest ate up, whats up with this crap, Did I have it ajusted wrong or what. I mostly do second gear clutch ups high speed. some one help please, dont want this to happen again.

it wasn't adjusted properly and you are suppose to give it at least 200 street city miles of using the clutch before using it hard. it has to wear in and seat itself.
put the clutch basket nuts down to the proper torque as the manual calls for it, and teh clutch lever should have about an inch of play at the end of the lever when you have it adjusted properly. any tighter and it'll burn the clutch up. my guess is pounding on it without giving it break in period. that sucks bro
