CBR919 -12' and petrol problem
I have read a post regarding this, but still im unsure what the solution is. My 99 CBR919 runs just fine for all stunts, but as soon as I do verticals (like slow stand ups) after a few seconds its starts to run rough and then it drops (same as when running outta fuel). As soon as I drop it down it runs fine again. I carry little fuel on the tank to minimise weight (but im not on reserve). Do you blade users do stunts on a 3/4 tank? I say this because gravity fed fuel means that the level of fuel has to be higher than the carbie?
Need help as this is limiting my improvement for long slow wheelies... (err, my skills are also a limiting factor )

The 919 is fuel injected so the only thing that i can think of that would help is to put a power commander on the bike to richen up the fuel curve up. We dynoed one last year when it was new and it was lean right from the factory for emissions standards.

I had a 99 cbr 900, and didnt like it unless it had a full tank. mine never stalled out on me, but then again, my wheelies werent that slow yet. maybe 25 mph. i say get a 954. thats what i did, and mine will start and run all day sitting on the 12 bar.

always run full tank when stunting, the pickup wont always get it if you dont. that is always the first thing i do when stunting is fill full. then the carbs on 900's are kinda rough and dont really work well at 12. your flooding the carbs SOO
if you want to do small 12 stunts IE 2 mins or less, turn your fuel off. i know that sounds funny but it will run off the fuel in the line and no longer force the fuel into the carbs to flood it

You might try raising the floats 1-2 mm if the full tank of gas dosen't work
