i probably shouldn't answer this because everyone calls me "mr. know-it-all" and is a dick to me about me helping people....but i'm going to anyways since i figured i'm a nice person and i've done this on this bike before.
unplug the sensor, cut the wires on the sensor side, then wire the red and the green wire togehter, let the white wire dangle (put some electrical tape on it) then plug that back into the plug on the bike side....done deal.
also, that kinda sounds weird because when the tipover sensor kicks in, it doesn't bog, it just straight dies instantly. also, we've never had them do that unless they are fully on the bar. oh well, won't hurt to disable it anyways. and another good thing about hondas, you don't have to do that bullshit silicone thing that weird suzuki's do. so much easier and neater.
diagram for your help:

ya, i guess i was just pissed off because i actually answer stuff. I'm sorry i have a stack of bike manuals and i read a lot of **** about a lot of things. I'm a hands on person and i deal with a lot of equipment and i know mechanical stuff because i don't have shops around here to do it for me, so you have to learn to do it yourself.
anyways, i'm glad that diagram helped you guys out. let me know how it turns out cause i'm curious if that was the problem with your buddies f4i. :YEAH
