Does it matter if you're only going to do a wheelie every now and then, cause I don't want to run extra oil if I don't have to.

WTF Does it matter if your engine locks up while you are doing a wheelie at 90mph on a local interstate??? Want to catwalk forever...get a fkn' bicycle, or take advice on the quastion you've asked

Don't know what twinsin just said but, I use almost 4 quarts of oil, or too the top of the glass.
Don't worry about the occasional wheelie, but if your doing 15 miles I'd put a little more oil in and keep the rpms down. Basically 12's are the times you have to worry.
Oh don't put too much in a gixxer (over 4 quarts) or your engine might lock up after a couple of miles of high revs wheelies trust me, that's how I lost the 600 engine.

I first heard the term "catwalk" when I worked at a JV detention center.
Not sure where or how or why the youth of today came up with the term catwalk but I hate it!
It's a forkin wheelie!

My ride locked up at 90mph on the Florida Turnpike 2 years ago. No wheelie, just riding. The shop told me "oil starvation, locked a piston, blew a rod, will fix it for this weeks special, only $1800". Fk that, I only had $2000 in the bike

have we figured out why he called it a catwalk? it has nothing to do with a cat, and truthfully, you don't even walk a cat, you walk a dog. cats just run around.
