Balance point?

ok so i been practicing and getting better at wheelies since i put the new gears on, have been trying standups and getting more comfortable, but my question is that im wondering how close i am to the balance point on my second gear wheelies, since i have noone to take a pic of me or follow me in a car. im to the point where im sitting down in second and bring it up and get it high enough to where i cant see over the front anymore at all and kinda have to look around the side of the bike to see where im going, and i can hold them till basically i hit the limiter lol, so would anyone say thats pretty close to the balance point????

thanks for any input

you'll notice right away when you hit the bp, the bike kinda slows down and the rpm's don't go any higher, it's kinda like a smooth feeling.

Re: Balance point?

I don't know what you're doing but supposedly clutching it will get you to the balance point faster..

Re: Balance point?

if you cant see the road you SHOULD be balanced.... but if you have to keep accelerating to stay up you arent. try going just a LITTLE higher

Re: Balance point?

yes, gearing the 6 hun makes a difference. It takes a lil while to find the BP, but once you do, you will never have to ask if you are there...you will know!

Re: Balance point?

Ya dude you'll know exactly when you hit it, the first time will probably scare the **** out of you- just keep your foot over the back brake
