I'm on a 2002 R6 and do 1st gear, 2nd gear standups, stoppies(about 50' before the weather became ****) and learnin' to walk/12 my **** now. I'm outta commision for a while with a broken foot due to a 12 gone bad
I gotta learn to be smoother on the clutch + throttle combo! My gearing is only +2 in the back. I'm eventually gonna go either -2, +2 or -2, +7 and see how it goes. I'll get it down eventually

i got an 2001 R6 with 20K miles on it!
i can do:
hightchairs
50/50
tank wheelis
sit downs about a mile
stand up for days
stoppies about 50 feet
highchair stoppies
12'ves standing (working on sitting)
ape hangers
no throttle hand (working on no hands)
and the rest i'm working on like circulars ect...

my gearing is -1 and +7

hey sdudgeonr6, were you able to do all that with stock gearing(12'ves, ape hangers, no throttle hand) ? or did you just up the gearing and then try it.

i could scrape and drag the bar with just -1 in front. but i totally love the +7 in the rear. i know people out there can do just about anything with stock gearing. but the -1 and +7 really works for me. in my opoin you should pick what ever you think will work best for you and stick with that. because everytime you change your gears alot you have to kinda relearn stuff again!!

hey your bike is it carbs or fuleinjected? i run a 2000 r6 and can do evreything i mean evreything i can do circle but not i lock i have done two in a row but seems to me that the bike bog alittle and the only question i have is when i scrape and drag for more then a minute it flood and bog then when i drop it back down it smokes like helll. do you guys have the same proble let me know thanks

jeff can do pritnear EVERYTHING on his garbage R6...anything can be done on just about any bike...

what gearing are you running? I have a 2002(carb) R6 with +2 right now and it's still a little 'jumpy'. I just ordered -2, +7 sprockets and am going to throw them on and work on my slow stuff. I know it's mostly smooth clutch and throttle control for the slow stuff but having the new gearing can't hurt...right?

LOL... bro you seem like you do more than me, so i should ask you if it bogs not the other way around

mines carb and runs like **** all the time. but yes at 12've it does die after a while. but your bike should not bog doing circles, they are high but not that high!!
