Go with the f3. f2 parts will fit, and in a pinch, you can even use the front rim, but not for long. f4 is just different enough in design that alot of the parts will not fit. oh about the front rim thing, I mean in a pinch. only half the brake pad wil contact the disc, and the disc is not floating. f4 only was out for a year I think.

Alright i found a local guy selling a 1998 F3. 6000 miles.. salvage title, repainted yellow, some scratches and cracks in the plastics, rash on the left side case and exhaust, no front fender, tach isn't hooked up. All stock. Was asking $3500, said he'd take $3000. I'm thinking about getting $2500 cash (all i have right now) and knocking on his door. Is that a good deal, some guys were saying with the salvage title its only worth 2,000. Its been registered and ridden for 4,000miles since the crash and everything seems to be ok. Said only the plastics got f'd up and thats why it got totaled.

What do you guys think?
