Re: doing a stoppie?????????

start out by squeezing the brake a little harder then usual just before you get to the next stop sign. start out slow until you get the feel.

the way i do it is about 20mph hit the front brake and lets off then feather the front brakes until you stop. but try that about 5mph then get a little faster and faster

Re: doing a stoppie?????????

Try it on the Ninja, and do what they're sayin. Just slowly work into more and more pressure on the front brake, the rest comes with practice.

Re: doing a stoppie?????????

Also the road your doing it on is very important. Find a patch with very good traction to keep that front from slipping.

TEACH C6 will become famous soon enough
Re: doing a stoppie?????????

that ninja is like a chopper...good luck learning on that; but you can still practice brake pressure....you should test your own as well as your bike's limits...need a good tire and brakes though

Re: doing a stoppie?????????

power will have nothing to do with your endos my friend. I think Teach is talking about the angle of the forks....there like a chopper. make the bike seem longer.

Re: doing a stoppie?????????

dont worry just go start practicing....remember clean road w/ good traction, and start off slow....go try that for a while then ask more questions....you need to get the feel to understand some of this stuff.

Re: doing a stoppie?????????

yeah bro, on that bike ur r gonna need to really preload the rear shock to get the a$$ up in the air. Right b4 u stab into the front brake, bounce ur a$$ on the seat and stand on the pegs alittle, this will lighten the load for ur brakes. Don't try till u get a good feel for ur bike and ur brakes, whatch out for lock ups. Give it hell bro.........................
