suspension and tirepressure

Hello,

I have an R1 from 2000 and want it to convert in streetfighter but want to know if you guys do something with you suspension???and your tire pressure (i see some people who's back tire is completely flat when they do a 12s and when they come down with a stoppie it is just that smooth that you don't hear any mechanical noise).

and last question: should i put -2 +10 ?? on my r1

On my 900rr I tightened the front suspension it was pretty stiff when I got it and the rear tightened it all the way spring and rebound settings. I run about 18psi in the front streets really suck around here need all the traction I can get, and about 8 to 12psi in the rear when doing slow stuff. -1+12 If you can best thing to do is sell that R1 and get a honda or Suzuki. 2000 r1 the sub frame is welded to the frame that sucks or get an 02r1

Ive messed with the front suspension (stiff). I takes a little getting used to but works well for doing tricks(stoppies). Ive never messed with the rear. But Ive heard that stiff suspension when stunting is the way to go. Also since the r1 subframe is welded onto the frame. It might cause you grief later on. Best thing for the r1 is to get it track ready and buy a honda beater to stunt. Id go just 10 up and have a little fun before you sell it.

I like to take some dampning out of the rear, don't know if its just superstition but it just feels easier on the transition up.
and dido on the front stiffening.

the mechanical noise you hear when coming down off of stoppies is the tranmission cause it is in gear, slip it in neutral and there will be no noise.
