i dont think the 01 tank will fit....... as for denting it in i jumped on mines but why dont you just use somethign like surfboard grip...... you wont have to dent it in on purpose.....itll dent in naturally on the curves of your ***.

jump on it, but not too much. a lot of people way over do denting, just crease the rear of it first and sit on it to feel it out

rhino tank

An alternative would be bed liner for 8 dollars a can at walmart. Mine turned out pretty good. Look at my member's gallery to see a pic of it. plus you keep your gas mpg's by not denting it.

dent your tank in with your shoe get a couple of your boyz to hold you bike up in the garage and with the heal of your shoe slowly dent it in. Wont chip the paint as bad.

Why make the bike look like crap? Don't dent it, clean it with alcohol (not the kind you drink )and don't wax it- you will stick fine.

here's mine.....i put on surfboard grip and it just dented into the shape of my *** after normal use.......... i think this works the best cause the type of material my pants r made out of grip real good w/ these surfboard grips...... the only bad thing about these is that you probably wont be able to perform tricks like spinderellas........ but hey these pads would work even in the rain (if you stunt in the rain that is )

On the 900's the tanks dent just by doing tank wheelies. And to finish denting if your not happy use a rubber mallet or your palm!
