Starter Stunt Bike

I have a 03 R6 now, and I'll probably sell it next year. A friend of mine is selling his 02 gixxer 600. My question is , will this be a good starter bike to stunt on? If not, what are your suggestions on a starter stunt bike?

If the price is right, I'd say its a good starter bike... I think the general preference here is the the honda cbr's though... correct me if i'm wrong

that gixxer would be nice, but look at it like this, would you want to destroy something that nice for learning tricks? i'd say find something salvage or an older cbr600 to learn **** on then get yourself a nice stuntbike like a 02 gixxer600 so after you've had all those "oops" crashes y ou could rock your new stuntbike with more love.

plus there are tons of parts availible for cbr600's.

verticaljay is a decent person
if the gixxer is mint its gonna suck to crash it but it is a good bike.

good thing is that parts between the 750, 600 and some of the 1k are interchangeable so there are a ton of parts around

ok, last night i rocked chad's (oppie on here) gixxer 750. it was so nice but i could see it being a bitch to learn on. it is very twitchy in throttle....suzuki's fuel injection is weird, and the brakes are really really touchy so it's hard to be smooth on them. took me a while to adjust but once i got it balanced i was rocking 1 handers and all sorts of crazy stuff.....it was just hard to get it up, you ahve to snap it up fast and let the idle take over otherwise it was a crazy battle with the throttle. i couldn't use just throttle to keep it up cause it was too twitchy for me.

other than that i loved it.

i'm using an f3 and they are freaking hard as hell. really hard to break, great to wheelie, and they love to endo. i am looking for a 12 bar if anyone has one or will make me one that will fit i would pay pretty decent money for it. looking to buy a 900rr also though.

nah, my team mates use them and they are the easiest to learn 12's on. we are building a 12 bar so i could probably make you one for not too much cash. also, i might be gettin rid of my 900rr streetfighter in jan or so when i get it put back together. i'll post it if i decide to get rid of it.

and OPPIE on here has a 98 900rr in great condition with clean title. i think he's selling for 3200$ for you stuntlifers. awsome bike. i want it but i don't have the cash to sport another bike right now.
