tank wheelies

When ever i try these i fly off the tank and end up back in the seat...What the Fizuck
How can i keep myself up there? Should i clutch myself up in 1st....or power??? powering is just throing me around...

you should definatly clutch it up i had trouble with
flying off the tank also. but i found that learning
highchairs first made learnig tank wheelies alot easier
because you get used to the feeling of being on the tank.
also you cant slide off the tank in a highchair because your
kinda locked on

i ride a 900rr and i power up tank wheelies just hold on and v your legs out as far as you can if you are sliding off the tank your style or tecknique might need a little work (i am not a pro) just my 2cents

or dent ur tank in and put any kinda of sticky adhesive on it and its like having a seat, i didnt do that to mine cuz i dont do tank wheelies but some of my friends have

No reason to smash it- clean it with alcohol and NEVER wax it, If you lean back right (arms straight) you will actually be pushing your a$$ forward and not slip off. keep working on it before destroying a good tank.

Clutch it up and just lean back try to keep your body perpendicular to the bike. Grip tape helps to stay on the tank too.

just dent the tank, makes things a lot easier, i had the same problem sliding off until i took the rubber mallet to it

I use tape it works and it doesn't make the tank look like **** if you still care alittle.
