steering dampner for my 929???

I had never landed a wheelie and slapped on my pre 929 RR's, but I've had 2 in 1 month with my 929. My question is-Can anyone verify that the Scotts Dampner (or any other really, but I seem to like the Scotts better) will help prevent and minimize the effects of tank slapping on 1-landing wheelies and 2-high speed & normal stoppies? Any input would be greatly appreshd.-d

Scotts

I had a Scotts on My f4i, I switched it over to my 954. One nice day, I think a couple of weeks ago, I took the 6 out w/out the Scotts. Did a standup on the highway, and BAM!!
Headshake like crazy, didn't lose it though. Made me appreciate my scotts on there, because I took that for granted. Get one!!

I have a Scotts on my 929. I would put one on any bike I get. With the right mounting kit you can put the same scotts damper on pretty much any bike.
