shes gonna blow...

Damnit damnit damnit.. I have the worst damn luck of all time when it comes to engines. I have been practicing 12s and slowrolls for the past two weeks. Last sunday I started noticing my bike was sounding a little strange. Now the damn thing has a subtle knock when its under load. However, right now it only does it when its under a load. It never does it unless I am on the gas hard or working against the brake. For example it does it when I am in first on 1 wheel cranked back working against the brake or it will also do it if I roll on the throttle from 30ish mph in 4th gear.. it does it in all gears.. sounds like a main bearing.. I dunno. Damnit. I guess I will put a new engine in it this weekend if it lasts that long. Heres to engine number 5 .

My diagnosis is crap. I had a friend who is a mechanic check it out and he said one of the pistons is real carbonized and it has caused the compression to increase causing detonation. The knock is aparently the gas exploding in the cylinder before the sparkplug ignites it causing a knocking sound under load. All I can do is run higher octane fuel or tear the motor down and replace the pistons and rings. I am just gonna get another motor and rebuild this one in my spare time. That way I know I will have a motor that isnt junk and gonna blow up on me. The reason my motors always blow is cause I get **** used ones real cheap.
