o3 1000 idle problem

anybody know why the 03 gixxer 1000 idle bogs at low speeds and does anyone know how to bypass the tip over sensor on one

Take apart your T/O sensor and fill it with silicone... make sure the ring is sitting dead center.

Put the cap on let it dry and your good to go

no idea about the idle, probably just needs mapping.

i think two of your problems are
1. it's not broken in yet. 700 miles
2. mapping. your ram airs are off and they made such a big deal about the air induction for 03. and you cut your pipe down. any change like that in a fi bike makes a difference.
i still think its just new and the motor is setting in

tip sensor is the same as your old one.

use fast idle set up of 00 750.

do you know something i don't.

i got a 03 1000 zip tie the tip over sensor, My ****'s not bogging i turned the idle up to like 4500 let that **** break in a little.

rodg its not the same tip over sensor i hot glued it i know how to get around it but i wanted to bypass it and the idle isnt as bad i turned it up to 4 grand and took out the exhaust valve and im used to the bike now so to make a long story short i love the bike now and its working for me in every way thanks for the help
