Rollin burnouts

Alright I gotta find out how to do these. I saw Snedo from Rollin Rednecks do one and it was awsome. Please help. I got a 97 YZF 1000 R.

verticaljay is a decent person
When I first started I started with a stand still and sloooooooowllllllly let off the front brake till it started rolling, then put feet on pegs.

Snedos will prolly work better for ya

you'll probably drop the bike a lot.

both ways they mentioned are great. i always had problems starting by standing then slowly rolling, i couldn't get that one right, so i used the rolling and slowly grabbing brake to get pressure off the rear tire then you kinda slip the clutch and give it gas to break it loose.

things to remember:
hump the tank, get all your weight forward and that makes it easier.
keep the front tire rolling, keeps the bike stable
be gentle on the throttle, i stay around 5-6k rpms, any higher and it gets really slippery, any less and it hooks up and well....gets nasty.
when you want to start doing donuts, you steer by puttin pressure on each peg to swing the rear around, and keep the front tire moving for more stability.

hope those tips help.

when i started learning rollers, i couldnt get them for ****. i would break it loose for maybe 3'. and i just said screw this burnouts are gay. then one night i just said screw it, and got upto like 20 mph. locked the front brake up and let it rip. i can roll them untill the tire pops now. you'll get them. its not the most difficult trick out there. but it does take a little practice as does everything.

Yeah, gimme your bike, and get something else to stunt on. I'd hate to see another one of those bikes trashed. They are hard to come by with the limited run in US. Plus they got mad torque. If you can't break the tire loose on it, you're doing something wrong!
