Concept for bigger sprockets for slow wheelies

so is the concept of having bigger sprocket is that when your clutching up 1st gear you dont have to use that much gas from jacking up your idle cause bigger sprocket means itll come up w/ less amount of gas?? i was practicing slow wheeleis w/ -1 +3 idle like around 2k.... i went too high for my own good i think ill go -1 +6 next time and practice. that way i dont have to be that high for the engine to have enough power to stay up on its own power by idle.... what do you think? sorry if its really hard to explain but if you ask questions about my questions im sure i can answer them
Thanks

you use a bigger sprocket because say with stock gearing you go 10mph at 4k rpms, with a -1/+10, say you go 2mph at 4k rpms. That way when you have the torque of 4k rpms and the engine doesn't bog when you are going slow.

that's why you use it.

and you just gotta watch taht bike, if it comes up too high too fast get on that brake.

It'll only stay up with the idle cranked when you get past the balance point. Don't get it high enough and it will just fall down like letting off the gas. Just get it past the balance point and ease the the rear brake. That's the hardest part, being smooth with the brake.
