geared, now twitchy stand ups

i went from 2 down to 2 down/4up. i love it for the slower stuff but 2nd/3rd stand up's are super twitchy. i usually try to work thru my probs on my own, but i figured i'd ask for some tips cause im kinda stumped. when i hit the bp now im constantly up/down, i can't hold steady it's just twitchy as hell, infact i almost looped a 3rd gear earlier. i don't usually mess with the rear brake unless im in first, but could that solve my problem? stock gears seemed much more forgiving

4th gear sound good to you? when i put my gearing on from stock to -1 +3 520 chain i didnt even bother messing w/ 2nd gear i learned how to shift to 3rd. but i havent had anything like your setup before so why dont you just give 4th gear a shot.

Try to do them in a lower rpm range

high rpm=twitchy and side to side wobble.

try lower rpm. If you wanted to stay at that speed of 3rd gear then get it up to the balance point sooner so you don't gain RPM. also, using the rear brake helps.....just lock your throttle hand and use the brake to adjust the height.

and, if you don't mind messing with the idle then turn your idle up. Seems to smooth things out.

Kyle_PBZ is a decent person
Your throttle hand is making it twitchy just gotta get smoother with it. Also if you are going the same speed and the same gear as before you are turning more rpm's which also makes it twitchy. Just go up a gear from what you used to use. That gearing it should come up in fourth no problem.

just stick with 1st gear. It's all about throttle control you'll get it
