So I have an 02 f4I and when I turn my bike on with the fuel pump switch on it doesn't kick the fuel pump. So I check to see if the fuel pump went bad and jumped it and it kicks on. So my question is what wiring would be invovled in checking and if there was maybe a fuel pump relay or any other relay I should check. And the last thing I touched was when I did the jumper mod for the tip over sensor, after done with that started right up. So turned it off and try to start it up to ride then nothing. So any help would do, thanks.

Recheck your wireing would be the first thing I do

Yea I did, first thing, I double check, triple checked and one more time. It's weird worked fine after I did it, started right up after I was done, then turned it off and just quit working. I'm just fed up with staring at the stupid wiring!!!!

there is two relays in the trunk area...check the wires and swap relays if that doesnt work...usually the wires break there...

check to see if your getting spark. if not id say its your ignition switch

checked the relays and they are good, I swapped them with good one off another f4i, spark is there swapped with another f4i again. This stuff is a pain!!!!

did you check the wires?? ive seen em break at those relay plugs so many times.... also check the kill sw on the bars

+1 seen this happen a couple times one of the solders break sometimes
