blow fork seal need help

Re: blow fork seal need help
USD forks really need to be totaly striped out for a seal to be replaced.
seperate dust sear from outer ally leg and un pick the retaining clip
Undoo the fork top and tiip out as much oil as ya can in to a jug
clamp fork foot (where caliper goes) in a vice
use good sharp allen key or socket and undo the bolt in the bottom of the foot
Remove damper (complete unit)
remove outer ally tube with Seal in it
Remove seal with a good sharp flat head screw driver
fit new seal over chrome tube (lubercate inside of new seal with fork oil) use black tape round the lip of the leg so you dont cut the new seal
replace outer ally leg and use "seal driver" to insert seal in outer tube
replace damper unit and re-fit bolt in base of foot
refill with oil and do top back up
Pump or squash the leg big time to re-circulate oil
And ya done.
Hope this helps..............
