ok my 05 636 is acting funky , my fi light was on but found out it was my exaughst actuator replaced it and it went off but i i have this problem after riding for a bit it acts like my tps is going out , gettting choppy then shutting down . but its not giving me any codes
could it be my power comander or my fuel pump makin it jump like that lost on electrical

when it stalls do you have to turn the key off and on to start it or do you just hit the start button ?

Well it jerks and spuders like tps for a second or so then dies , then it won't start no matter what all unless I let it sit for a min cool down . That's why I was thinking maybe fuel pump heating up but I'm not sure if it would act like that .
Also when I try to start it to soon acts like slugish to start and won't the 5 min later starts right up after coolin off I'm guessing

i've seen car fuel pumps do that. worth a shot to swap it with one u know works. I have a few fuel pumps for sale

if it were the tps, when you turned the key off, then back on it should reset and start. could be the fuel pressure regulator. you really need to try to find out if it is a fuel, or spark issue when it wont start.

Well its whatever that's making its die is reason won't start also . How much for a fuel pump

tps is the throttle position sensor but i think youre talking about the tip over sensor and you are correct unless the plug is bad , very common on that bike too , i would check to make sure the plug is locking and not just loosely sitting there

I do mean the throttle position sensor but I don't think its that , I just know how they act when its goin out best way I could explain it ,
Yea iv herd about the tip over sensor doin that ill check that first thanks man . Ill let ya know what I can find I hate electrical one thing always leads to the next . Omr how much for sub cage for my 636

I have other things I have to get done first maybe soon , iv been riding a f2 as a lot bike and last time I road was in november when I crushed my foot when bike landed on it so thinking of making my 636 a stunter just haven't wanted to tear it up
