Re: crf 50.
When it does, how long does it take before it restarts, and how long does it run after that?
My bike would die after about 10 minutes, then after about 30 seconds would restart, then die in like 10 seconds.. Once it cooled completely down, would run again for like 10 minutes, then do the same thing...
Turns out it was my coil, once it got hot it quit producing spark.
When it dies what happens? Does it start to bog and run like ****? Or does it just DIE and is 100% dead like you hit the kill switch?
Next time it dies, try removing the fuel cap right away and see if it runs.. To make sure it isn't clogged
Might as well clean or replace the plug anyways ,since they are cheap and should be done once a year anyways.. But I doubt the plug is the problem.
The CDI could 'possibly' be the problem, but its hard to say.
If your bike is old, couldn't hurt to purcahse an aftermarket CDI and coil..
When my bike started messing up, I just bought an aftermarket 'high performance' coil off ebay for real cheap
