2nd gear sit-downs question
i ride a 96 GSXR fighter... 2 up in the back
just started doing 2nd gears this year... we went out for practice tonite so NEwayz...
the spot where i have it lift off is about 9.5 K RPM, however i don't get them very far. i hit the red line in no time...
when you do your wheelies, do you end up only using for example 9.5K to 11K... or should i be shifting??

get them higher so you dont have to worry about running the gear out too quickly, you can get it to the balance point and almost run it out for as long as you want....but it's a matter of how comfortable you can be with the throttle and how high the front end is. stand up's are easier for me, try bouncing it up in second and see if you can't ride them out longer...it's easier for me to control the heighth.
