clutch wont snap back out

got a piece of **** 87 on road off road dirtbike for free i've been fixing to learn wheelies on, but the clutch keeps dragging when i let it out, how do i get it to snap back out when i pop it?

you may just need a new cable , take off the cable and see if it moves freely and if so check to see what is sticking

cable or the little spring on the lever that the cable moves. wd40 the **** outa the cable! lol

yea, used wd-40 and chain lube, it snaps now, but it inches out if i ease it, makes for a shaky take off lol, how can i make is smoother?

yea, the whole clutch is fucked up anyways, might need new plates. its an old bike, just riding the other day, i noticed they were smoking, and when i pop it, it doesnt really grab
