welding cast aluminum fron fairing stay?
title sez it all, ive got an 05 636, dropped it at the lot and the front fairing stay on the right side of the bike broke off. i tried to zip tie the fender on but it has clearance issues. i recently got stainless lines put on, but i want my fender, rooster tails on wet roads are getting annoying.
can this be welded back on/. i took it to a local shop and they said i wil have to remove the forks but they refused to weld it for me. cause they didnt want to be responsible for anything that might happen.
i know this has to have happened to someone on here, so lemme know wut u did to fix/ reinforce this shiet.

DUDE...... put some JB WELD on that ****. it works on any material, and you can even patch a friggin cracked head with it. It seriously works, and you can paint it when it dries, too...... I wouldnt go around and try putting cracked frames back togeather with it, though.... Hey, you looking for an "Arrow" Under-seat exhause for your bike??? I got a nice one for ya.

Get an aftermarket one. I JB welded mine and it BLEW!! Worst thing I have ever done. So just get a bullet proof one so you dont break it next time. If you JB weld the stock one, that will be a weak point and it will keep breaking... Could even break from coming down too hard from a wheelie.
