99 F4 Motor Vent and carb sync (Tanus come visit)
Well i took my tank off the other day to see if i could sync my carbs and where the manual says the vacuum tubes are(says connected to the airbox) there are none. Then i got to looking and i have 3 valves connected to the motor carbs ect. This leads me to believe that the motor is a swap from someones cali bike (because the book says that the cali bikes are the only ones with all of the valves) SO my question about syncing the carbs is, how am i supposed to do it cause i cant find where the vacuum hose are.
In addition could i take something like this: http://www.bikebandit.com/uni-filter-crankcase-breather and hook it up to where the crankcase vents to the airbox to eliminate oil filling up the box and to get clean air? Any ideas would be awesome.
Thanks

sorry guy, I have a f4i motor in my f4, but Im pretty sure the f4 has vacuum ports on the head itself and not on the carbs
I think you can do the air box mod same as on a f4i, if you post a pic of the motor with airbox off I can confirm that.

f4 have nipples on the rubber intake manifolds on top with black caps on them you connect the hoses from the vacume gauges to these ( don't rev the bike up high it will suck the mercury into you motor

Thanks for the reply...i was working on my boys new f4i today and clean air mod on that is easy as **** but i dont think i can do it on mine from the looks of reading the manual because the crankcase vents directly into the carb through the solenoid valve
