F4i bogging problem

03 CBRF4I in gears 1-5 bogs down at 9(rpm) and in 6th at 8.5(rpm). I have tried cleaning the fuel injectors.

Any sugestions?

Re: F4i bogging problem

change the plugs, the air filter, and sync the throttle bodies. ( This link is a step by step in doing so ) http://cbrforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=42239

1. Airfilter - People take it for grantid (sp) "without air, we can not breathe"

2. Plugs - i change mine every 3rd oil change, with the sudden changes in rpms, riding conditions, weather....

3. There are guys that swear by this, some guys do it every so month some before they ride..

These are 3 things that will cause your bike to bog out, and if it is bogging at 9k it will only get worse from there..

The only other thing i can think of is your can, if it is clogged or restricting airflow it can cause the bike to bog as well..

holy **** you change your plugs every 3 oil changes??

Do you not change your oil often? Or are you changing plugs 3-5 times a year?

oil every 500 "miles" lol i have 5000 miles on my bike and changed the plugs 4 times, i've seen to many people have problems, i try to stay ontop of my bike so it rides out every time with no problems, my oil has never been black, looks almost new everytime i change it, but i paid 6800 for the bike from the showroom, put about 1000 bucks into it to make it the way i want, so i treat it like an 8000.00 machine, Everyone says its a waste of money, but my bike runs the same now as it did the day i bought it 2 years ago. i also change my oil if my temp gets over 245, i know it breaks down at 300, but i'm not gonna chance it.

Re: F4i bogging problem

I also change my oil at 500-1500 depending on what riding I've done

35k miles, and my oil still comes out golden after 1k miles.

got my first set of plugs at around 28k

but I also put around 10k on it the first season I had my f4i

Re: F4i bogging problem

Just for the hell of it check your fuel lines, because we had the same problem on my cousins bike and it turned out to be a pinched fuel line, (after being in the shop four times and every test run on it.)
