learn to ride/stunt it with stock gearing and then you'll get a feel for how much you need to change it. it should wheelie in 1st really easily, and 2nd with a a bit of work.

Stoppies on a R6 are just like stoppies on another bike.. no special R6 magic needed. Read other posts on starting stoppies.
And like AdamGeek said -- learn the bike stock. You can bounce that thing up in 3rd with practice without a gearing change, I promise. 4th if you REALLY work hard and set your front end up for very little compression daping and rebound damping.

whats up. its me mike, i was like hey thats my pic lol. even though that pic was super duper old. ya i'm -1,+5 right now but i used to be -1, +2. -1+2 seems to be a good combo for everything without being too drastic. i'd say ride the stock gearing for a while til your chain needs to be replaced then go for the change. i know of a guy rockin circles on a r6 with stock gearing i believe. man you have to come down to the airstrip tomorrow, 4 different news channels are coming to film. 3, 6, 10, and the a&m kingsville college news crew. gonna be big time fun. call little john asap
