Re: f4i building air pressure in my tank

check overflow and breather hoses, one or both may be kinked or clogged

Re: f4i building air pressure in my tank

i had the same problem with my bike a while ago. i put a hose connected to a vac-bleeder into that small hole under the gas cap, pumped it till it moved whatever was clogging it and that fixed it

Re: f4i building air pressure in my tank

if you have an after market cap you may need to open the vent hole in the base of the cap

Re: f4i building air pressure in my tank

ya your tank isnt venting just clean it out otherwise it will only run for a whil than the pressure will be uneven in the tank and it wont allow the engine to suck any more fuel and your bike wont run until you open up the tank and release the pressure

Re: f4i building air pressure in my tank

sounds like a clog in the vent line, mine only lets pressure out when I open the tank when its bone dry, any other time its fine.
