Talking

start slow, like ten mph and then work your way up to faster speeds.

Don't just grab the brake hard though. Grab it moderately so there is some pressure on the wheel, and then give it a nice jerk on the brake lever. Do them in neutral so it's less to concentrate on, just the brake will be all you are concentrating on. Just remember don't just jerk it hard or your wheel will skid and you will lose control.

Listen to gimix. Buy a Damper pronto!!!!!
they pay for themselves in the fairings you would buy if you didn't have one.

start by rolling them at like 18-20 because the bike will be more stable. constant pressure on the lever ensures tracshun on the front wheel and then give it a small bounce as you shift you weight. start in a parking lot and watch for white lines and oil.

It also helps to just get the feel of your front brakes.
Start out @ 30 ish and lightly pull it in, keep doing it over and over untill it feels like the force is bringing the rear end up.
this helped me out- just gives the feel of what its going to do before going up.

how i started out:

start rolling at 30mph, grab the clutch, grip the tank tight with your legs and then start squeezing the brake and leaning forward. As you start to slow add more and more pressure to the brake until you feel the rear come up. By that time you'll probably be almost stopped because you aren't used to it. Keep practicing that and each time grab the braker harder sooner so you pull the tire up at like 20mph and you'll be able to roll them.

30mph is a good speed. any less and hte bike isn't as stable, any more and it's a hard crash and it takes a little work to ride them out.

i learned without anyone helping me. Almost all my tricks i learned. cbo and gimix helped me on my 12's but it didn't work until a month after i did them on my own in a parking lot. nobody around here does what i do.

Awesome bike to do them with thats for sure. The brakes on that thing are amazing. I had one and Its been the easiest bike for me to stoppie. Im no pro but I was rolling 200ft no dampner or anything from about 50mph with that thing.

lift up your azz just before hittin the brake also it takes weight off off the rear wheel also it helps greatly with a reference point to how high you are, when the seat hits your azz, your high enough

great advice but a little too much for a beginer. I would start with just getting the tire up first, then work on the bounce and lifting your rear and stuff. Try to make it simple the first time until you are comfortable then start adding more complex things to it.
