Throttle Body won't budge
Hey, Im trying to replace my Idle adjustment cable on a 03 600rr. I have everything torn down to the throttle body, and all the clamps are loose on the bottom, nothing is connected to it but the throttle cable, and I can't get it to come off. I keep rocking it back and forth and I wont wanna pry on it. I know you guys have torn these down so much there has to be something to do to get it to break loose.

the book only stated there was the bottom four clamps that needed to come loose...So, I need to release the top ones as well?
Also being that I have this torn down, being how the fan don't kick on when it's hot. Is there a sensor that needs replaced as well..

No you just need the bottom clamps loosened, I usually rock it back and forth from holding on to the fuel rail. The fan usually kicks on at 225 to 230 there is a thermastat under the body that can be replaced.

the fan wouldn't kick on so i wired it to my high been switch so it would kick on manually , im more worried about the high idle speed thats causing my idle to be off. But I have been rocking it back and forth for the past few days and its not getting me any place lol...
I feel like such a squid from this giving me so many problems

TB's/carbs are always a bitch to break loose
BE CARFUL not to damage the boots, but you can stick a screw driver down in the boot on each carb in 2-3 spots on the boot, to 'pry it' away from the carb, and break the seal...
It's just like a radiator hose, after being stuck on for years with a hose clamp, the rubber has damn near welded itself to the metal... Gotta break it lose, then it'll pop right off
