circle dip - oil light

so i just blew 2 motors from oil starvation so every time i see that ************ blink i FREAK THE **** OUT!

i highsided a circle tonight, the bike landed on the right side in the hydro lock position...but i turned it off or it stalled as soon as i fell (don't remember) but the bike was OFF...besides, i have the air kleen mod done to it.

straight wheelies are still fine...but EVERYTIME as soon as i dip into a circle...the oil light starts flashing.

p.s. i have an oil pickup too.

Re: circle dip - oil light

overfill even with the pickup

My light occasionally blinks, but only when I dip WAY back coming into a circle, or when I rock coasters

ya, but your bike has ALOT of other "oil pressure" problems

overfill will not overcome the restiction of oil pick up

so "Dat_Boi" just explained why the pick-up is bad.

what if you drill holes in the plate, or just cut it out?

I had a oil pickup, I removed it since thats when my oil pressure issues started

however I think its something in general with higher mileage f4i motors.. My fiends motor does the same thing, if you lose ALL oil pressure for 5-10 seconds, it takes over 20-30 seconds to rebuild pressure

Had my oil pump out at LEAST 3 times, and oil pan off over 4 times.. Everything is in spec

ahh well, 34k miles, when it pops it pops and I'll get another
