Re: how do i break in a rebuild bike?
when ever i get a new bike i ride it hard i just dont maintain high rpms , i will hit the redline once in a while but never stay high in the revs for very long till i have changed the oil a few times , me and my brother got the same exact bikes and he broke his in like the manual said and i drag raced mine...lol mine always pulled harder and ran for ever
now that the wise one has confirmed it. i will definitely ride that bitch hard.
p.s. i was gonna say "old one" instead, but didn't wanna offend you

When i built race motors for the street/drag strip i beat them the second they were in time. Old man once told me if u dont rev high and u dont beat it the rings could not set in all the way and it could eventually smoke from this. Weather it be cold starts to being warmed up and given off a little grey smoke. So i beat the **** out of them and never once landed a problem. Stock block 550+ to the RW. FORD bitches.....
