929 front swap. throttle cables too short???

929 front swap. throttle cables too short???
So I put in the 929 front end, everything matches up beautifully.
But when I go to put on my front brake and resevoir, the throttle cables barely fit over it, and are VERY snug.
Anyone have to lengthen the cables when they did this swap?
