Re: Stock gsrx dampner.
theres a small bleeder screw, remove it,drain old fluid, submerge it in new fluid and and pump it till no airbubbles come out, install screw, done
you can buy a scotts for 20 buck, how about you sell me yours for 40 bucks, then you can buy 2

Re: Stock gsrx dampner.
i have $10 in the dampner and $40 in the bracket and maybe $5 in some more fluid. And if its a simple as Tanus says like 20 mins in it. So 55 bucks and 20 mins of work is pretty cheap sir. Soooooo, Wheres these cheaps *** scotts and GPR dampners at???? That fit a f4i with a 954 front end cause if im not mistaken it needs a different type of bracket.

Re: Stock gsrx dampner.
I have yet to install my gixxer damper, but I got it free, and imma make my own bracket.. So just oil cost for me lol
I guess it would also depend on where and how you mount your damper.. Say if its closer to the center of the pivot for the forks, it might need thicker oil, and if its closer to the outside might need a lighter weight..
I've heard mixed reviews.. I've heard people say 80w90 gear oil! But I've also heard people put 10w30 or 15w40

Re: Stock gsrx dampner.
i put 20 wt fork oil in a friends and it was ok but could have been a little stiffer , only problem is it is on all the time so if you get it stiff enough for fast stoppies then it's a little to tight for just regular stunts
