Salvage Bike HELP in NY

I got a Kawasaki zzr600 from NYC salvage. I paid 2 grand for it. Number 1, the bike is from Tennessee and I only have a Salvage Certificate. Number two, here is the carfax on this bike.

Date: Mileage: Source: Comments:
07/03/2008 Tennessee
Police Report
Case #09988171 Accident reported
in Davidson County
Involving front impact
with another motor vehicle
Moderate damage reported
Damage reported to:

Motor Vehicle Dept. DISMANTLED TITLE ISSUED
REBUILT TITLE ISSUED

I dont have a rebuilt title. I only have the salvage certificate.

I am a bit nervous that I just got screwed really bad. I am going to go to the DMV tomorrow but I am afraid they are going to tell me some BAD news. Does anyone have any experience with this. The ebay auction was this..

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ayphotohosting

I called the guy and he ended the auction, I wanted to buy it though ebay, but he insisted on doing it "his" way. That was my first mistake, and now I think I am screwed.

Anyone have any idea or words of advice?

Re: Salvage Bike HELP in NY

as long as you have the salvage title your ok. most times they will not issue you a rebuilt title untill the bike is repaired and you have it inspected by a certifed inspection station. buying a salvage bike is a big pain in the dick i will never buy one again it almost is to much of a pain in the *** to get everything in working order.....

Sorry to say bro, but thats was a bad move. First off you could of bought that bike with nothing wrong with for thats price. Second) the cost to put it back together, could buy a sweetie bike .3) you have to wait like a month to get a date so that the state can take a look at the bike.

Ya Got **** Bro. But Its Life,

Yeah, I may just part it out because it's getting to where it's not worth it anymore.
