Tank wheelies

How would I start to do a tank wheelie?? What gear do most people pop them up in?? I have a 98 f3 with -1 in the front (and soon +5 in rear). Help me!!!!!

I do 'em in first... just get up on the tank, and clutch it up as you normally would. It's easier with the tank dented in, but you can do it without

and hold on

if your tank aint pounded in you can slide into the seat befor you land lots softer . if you slide off the tank anyway use just a little grip tape made for skate boards workes great

Be VERY careful clutching them up. I only went +2 in the back and decided to do a tank wheelie with the new gearing and nearly looped the bastard. Start small and then go big.

Nick, you need to learn basic sitdown wheelies before you try more advanced stuff like tank wheelies or your gonna bust your *** big time.

getting used to a highchair at first!yeah you'll run the rpms up high, but once you get used to it you'll be able to balance it out and cruise for a while at a low rpm.you'll get it.
