'08 CBR 600RR Idle Help Alright, My buddy has a fully stunted out '08 that he just ordered an Idle cable for. He put the idle cable in, and it worked fine when adjusting it as the bike was running. As soon as he got on and gave it throttle with the idle set above 2500 rpm, it would stick at 5000rpm, and then slowly come down. 
Why is this?
If anyone can help us out, it would be greatly appreciated.
