This has been going on the past 2 weeks and i cant figure this **** out. My bike just shuts off on me for no reason. Then ill let it sit for a day and it will start back up and as soon as it gets to running temp either it will die or i will shut the bike off and when i go to turn it back on it wont start. Everything turns on fine and the fuel pump primes, so i checked for spark and no spark, but it has to sit for a least 24hours and it will start back up and run perfect. I went through the whole wiring harness and put eberything i thought it could be from my friends 636 on it testing everything. So finally today i found my gauges and hooked it up started the bike let it run and it got a little too hot 130 so i shut it off and tryed starting it to see if it would and no spark??? Im going to flush my coolant i think there might be a air pocket causing it to overheat but that still wouldnt cause my bike to just not start back up for a day.. Oh and the FI light did turn on when it was running but it wouldnt come back on after i shut the bike off to test it? Anyone ever have this kind of proplem

I took it to a shop last week too and they couldnt figure it out and when it wont start it turns over really really fast not normall at all....

hmmmm... fried ecu???

Nope, when it wouldnt start i switched ecu's with one we knew was good and nothing

try changing out every sensor one by one.... if a sensor is tripped the ecu wont let it spark untill the sensor resets...

that has to be what it is...

im gona have to do that. Wouldnt it throw a code if its a sensor though?

its camshaft position sensor mulfunction, wiring open or short

Thanks but its not 13. Just narrowed that down. Have no fuel pump prime or turn over when start button is hit. clutch saftey is bypassed. Kickstand switch still ok. Tip over bypassed. I have nothing, checked start switch, seems ok.

anyone have any suggestions?

check your fuses. specifically the one that is on the back right side behind all the relays in the white housing
