Question about clutch disc install

So I've got new steels and fibers coming for my 06 f4i, hoping to have them tomorrow. The only question I have is what should I do to prep them to go in, I've heard soak the fibers in oil and scuff the steels... that sound right to everyone?

ps-don't buy bikes from dumbass squids.. otherwise you'll be replacing the clutch on a bike w/ 3k miles

ya man basicall soak those bitches half day or as soon as u get them...

drain oil pop case and remove, and replace the fibers...

Re: Question about clutch disc install

not sure about the f4i's...... on the 900RR's the factory shop manual says to put all the metal discs in with the rounded edge IN..... the plates are stamped out, so there is a sharp edge and a rounded edge.....

I suggest putting them all in the same way.
