Angry 03 636 throttle issue

I was at the lot yesterday on my 03 636 and was workin on slowin down my wheelies to try and scrape. I had been practicing for 4 hours and as i was ridin one my bike lost power and slammed down. Couldnt figure out what happened so i tried to ride and clutch it up again and everytime i gave the bike gas it would ride and then start losin power and then regaining so it made the bike like jump as if i was chopping the throttle. I have no clue what the **** its doin. I can put it in neutral and redline the brains out of it no problem. But as soon as i put it in first it sometimes will die or it will ride then just do the lose power, regain power, and ****, I dont know where to look into first? It seems electrical. I already did the tip over sensor mod so I wouldnt think it would be that. Please help cause it just started to get nice and ridin season here in indiana and now my **** is fucked. thanks
Nick

Re: 03 636 throttle issue

if it isnt what else u think it may be? cause i dont think its really that. i mean like the lights on the guage never turned off or anything. someitmes i would put in gear and it would die? and then sometimes it would cruise on idle n if i gave it to much gas it would like start jumpin ?

Re: 03 636 throttle issue

did you actually check your battery?

because the my lights and everything were on fine and it would just cut on and off until i tighten'd it down, if its not the battery its probably the fuel pump

Re: 03 636 throttle issue

checked the batt. its tight as hell. i opened the air box and there was a little oil cuase i hadnt done the clean air mod on it yet like i did my other bike. but it still would not cause it to do that cuase if it was oil in my intake then it wouldnt rev hard in neutral and not do **** in gear. so i dunno i got the tank off and im lookin at wires. i dont see how it would be fuel pump because like i said when i got it in neutral it revs perfect as hell but once i put it in gear it will sometimes die or if it does move then it will ride and as soon as i start to give it little gas it will start buckin.

Re: 03 636 throttle issue

i dont see how gas or fuel pump can be issue. its only when in gear. neutral is fine but as soon as it goes in first it either dies or it will idle ride but give it some gas and it will start jumpin n ****.

Re: 03 636 throttle issue

for the clutch and the kickstand switch, just cut the wires and solder them together. as far as the tip over switch..... you can just take the internals (no silicon)
