carbed gsxr 750 revving prob

i just switched out a fuel injected motor and put in the 750 and i checked everything out its all wired right the gas doesnt stick everythings fine but when i rev it it just stays there like say im chillin and i rev it to 5k then let off it just stays at 5k ... any ideas?

when i say swaped out a fuel injected motor that i mean i put in a carbed motor
