f4i clutch lever install

when u swap the clutch lever there is 2 wires coming out of the stock clutch piece going to the horn and dirctional box. What do u do with the wires?

If it's the same as my Superhawk just jump the two wires together... I haven't gotten that far with my F4i build to know for sure but all you have to do is try to start it with them disconnected... if it don't start jump the wires together...

u dont do anything it starts and runs with them disconnecced.

Yeah, we just installed an EZ pull on my buddies F4i last weekend and we just left them unhooked.

Hook them up!

The bike wont start in gear


And if you run your idle up, you will destroy your tranny forcing it into gear after you start the bike!

It's for a "dummy" switch... just like the kickstand "dummy" sensor... keeps you from doing dumb things like trying to start the bike in gear without holding the clutch...
