If you don't have spark look at what the dude above said and,,,,
On the back of the ignition switch is a resitor I had one pop on me. Took me a little bit to figure that one out. You can't just bypass the resitor either.

You bike is not smoked. That year 900 throws the #3 C-rod bearing outside of that it's a VERY solid power plant. It's not smoked.
Loss of compression???? Doubt it.
Systematic.
It easy to narrow it down.
Check for spark, No Spark=some thing electrical.
If you have spark it's probably fuel delivery.
Then check possible fuel problems.
As far as internal engine components failing. That usually comes with a lot of noise.

The compression is like 150 150 150 60???? is that bad??

Re: SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP.. MY 900RR is not starting, for nothing..
thats a pretty big compression drop but the bike should still start but run kinda rough. try spraying a little starting fluid in the intake ( by spray i mean about 2 seconds worth if that) while someone cranks the bike for you. if it starts you got a fuel problem. if it doesnt start and you made sure you had spark check the intake system and make sure nothin is clogged, make sure your butterfly valves on your carbs are functioning and not stuck. after you fix your starting problem check the compression dude. little trick to see whats causing it is to pour a little oil(make sure its a little or youll **** it up cuz liquid doesnt compress) into the cylinder thats low on compression threw the spark plug hole wait a little while and recheck compression. i forget what your results mean cuz its been awhile since i did it so ill make sure and get back to you on that but possible problems could be blown piston rings, open exhaust valve which might mean bent valve and or cracked cylinder but its most likely not that cuz you would have noticed that cuz when a cylinder cracks it usually cracks along a coolant jacket and then you overheat.

Re: SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP.. MY 900RR is not starting, for nothing..
I took off the carbs and cleaned them out thoroughly... and that means takin them apart totally and cleaning them and putting them back together... not just spraying cleaner in them and holding them open and letting it run out.
And after that I had to just bump the ignition a few dozen times to fill up the bowls before it would start.....and run..... make sure your idle is adjusted right and that anything didn't move.... I was actually surprised how long it took to fill up the bowls and even then I would have a nice halfway full, clean tank of fresh gas in too.
Good luck, I know I was PO'ed about mine for a good week before I got it goin... Hella solid bikes though so you should be OK... 9 out of 10 x's it's just somin stupid....
