F4 conversion into an F4i
i converted the tail on my F4 into an F4i this summer. now i was thinkin about converting the front end cuz i dont like the headlight on my F4. so i was wondering if anyone here has done it before? i know to do the conversion if its even possible without major modification i will for sure need the front plastic and headlight off of an 01-03 F4i but will i also need the side fairings and the fairing stay bracket? and also will the bolt holes line up the same to mount everything back into place?

ALL YOU NEED IS THE UPPER,HEADLIGHT,HEADLIGHT WIRE HARNESS,UPPER FAIRING STAY...AND WALLLA....SIDE FAIRINGS ARE THE SAME.....

not that im doubting you, but are you sure? only reason im askin if your sure is because i was told the same thing about the tail conversion and i ended up needing lots of other little stuff to finish the conversion so it took almost all summer by the time i ended up finding everything so i could buy it, and i still need the rear pegs lol. thanks for the info though man, i appreciate it.

well im 99% sure because ive owend both bike ..a 99 f4 and a 01 f4i
and right now i have a f4 side fairing on my f4i...,now i know when you take off the upper theres a tubing that goes near the airducks,forgot what its for,some type of senser...im not sure about the wire harness conecters..they might be diff...but i can talk to the kid i sold my f4 to to see if i can borrow the bike....in the next week or so....my f4i is apart right now so i can see if everything will line up....and the connectors are the same and work and ****....

cool thanks man i was mainly concerned with the way everything mounts up if it would be the same. i figured i could always splice into the wiring harness if i needed to, but if you do find out if the harness works let me know. thanks again
